Night on the Sun is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Shopkeeper to support the daily rythms of the store- tending atmosphere, objects, botanicals and the daily experience of the space.

We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn our methods, follow direction and grow: articulate & organized, vested in design, curious about horticulture, and maintains a flexible, can-do attitude.

Assist with daily operations including store upkeep, light cleaning and keeping displays refreshed

Engage with customers in a warm, helpful, and knowledgeable way—communicating our concept and product stories with care

Process sales and manage backend tasks like invoicing, order fulfillment, and scheduling

Assist with inventory tracking and stock management

Pitch in with studio tasks and adapt fluidly between indoor/outdoor work

Assist with setup and maintenance of visual merchandising and shop displays

Support any pre-opening tasks (like tagging products, organizing inventory, etc.) and help with shop events or seasonal shifts.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail space.

Weekend and holiday availability required

A genuine interest in design, thoughtful objects and a curiosity about plants.

Friendly and personable, with strong people skills

Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

Physically comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and lifting light to moderate loads

Experience with basic tech (POS systems, email, spreadsheets)

Willingness to jump into different roles as needed and learn as you go

Open to feedback and desire to grow alongside the business
